Energy efficiency project funded under the ROP ERDF Tuscany 2014-2020
Our company Poggio delle Rose srl, during the year 2015 has participated in the program POR-FESR 2014-2020 for the allocation of grants from the Region of Tuscany and the European Union for energy requalification. Through the Energy Notice 1 of March 2015 we have been granted a contribution for the realization of the project of energy efficiency of buildings.
Project Description
The interventions that we will carry out are:
- the insertion, in the roof pitch facing south of the building, of solar thermal panels for the production of domestic hot water;
- the replacement of some windows with others with thermal break, with high energy performance;
- the construction of new insulation in the roof of the existing building with remaking of the existing roof covering;
- the replacement of the existing boiler with another condensing one.
The renovation works are aimed at achieving objectives for an energy requalification tending to lower all operating costs, especially those related to energy consumption for heating.

Project Conclusions
The energy and technological systems that will be included in the improvement in the building, will be performed to achieve an energy class suitable to promote savings in heating costs, a new living comfort, an increase in real estate value and a reduction of CO2 emissions, all to respect the environment and protect the climate.
All internal and external works will be carried out according to the criteria of good construction and will comply with all current regulations on safety, hygiene and health.

Goals achieved at the end of the project
At the end of the energy efficiency works were realized works that led to a total saving of 4.32 tep/year, corresponding to an energy saving of 23.68%. In addition, the carbon footprint of the building has been significantly improved, achieving reductions in climate-altering emissions equal to 11.981 tons. CO2 and 11.324 tons. CO2eq.
